Sugar Cookie Cabin - Frequently Asked Questions

Thank you for your interest in Sugar Cookie Cabin. We want to make sure you have the best possible vacation while you are at Suncadia.  We are always looking to improve our house and welcome any comments and suggestions you have.  Please make sure to sign our guest book during your visit.  Here are answers to some frequently asked questions:

Q: How many people fit in the cabin?
A: The cabin sleeps 6 in regular beds, 2 in a pull out queen sofa sleeper, and 1 baby/toddler in a full sized crib and 1 baby in a Graco Pack 'n Play.  The main floor room has the Master Suite with a king size bed and its own full bathroom.  Also on the main floor, the Great Room has the queen pull out sofa sleeper.  The upstairs "Parents Suite" has a queen size bed and rocking chair and its own bathroom.  Adjacent to the Parent's Suite (and over the kitchen) is the open "Kids Loft" with a Twin over Full bunk bed.  Also adjacent to the Parents Suite bathroom is a walk-in closet with a full size crib with baby monitors and a white noise machine.

Q: Where do I park?
A:  You can park 1 car in the covered carport and another 2 in the driveway.  Please do not block the next door neighbors driveway.  Also, technically, you are not supposed to park in the street.

Q: Is there snow removal service?
A: Yes, the Prospector's Reach Neighborhood has a plow service to clear the streets and sidewalk up to the house if more than 3" of snow fall at any one time.  The service will do their best to plow around cars but you may need to do some shoveling if you are blocking the plows. Shovels are provided at the house.

Q: Do we have access to the whole house?
A: You have access to all parts of the house except the front entrance closet, one kitchen cabinet, and the garage which are all reserved for the owners personal belongings.  Please do not attempt to use these areas.  There is nothing of value stored there, just odds and ends left to make our trips from Seattle easier.

Q: Can we use *all* of Suncadia's amenities?
A: Yes! We recently changed property managers to enable access to all of the amenities including the *AMAZING* Suncadia Swim Fitness Center.  In addition, you can now book tee times up to 1-year in advance and get preferred appointments at the Glade Spring Spa, which are both desirable when planning ahead for holiday weekends.  In winter, you can use the Ice Skating Rink, have easy access to the Cross-Country Skiing Trails, use the Tubing Hill, and the indoor pool/fitness center.  (Get to the Tubing Hill early on Holiday weekends, there is a hard (30 person?) limit per session)  In summer, there are 2 parks/playgrounds on Suncadia's grounds, plus the indoor/outdoor pool.

Q: How far is the cabin from the Suncadia Village?
A:  You can see the Swim Fitness Center from the back patio.  It is less than a quarter-mile to the Swim Fitness Center and probably another quarter-mile to the Lodge which has the Glade Spring Spa, a Pioneer Roasting Company Coffee Shop, the Portals Restaurant, and the Fifty 6 Degrees Lounge which has great daily happy hour specials.
